What is 7 Keto?

7 keto has been one of the most popular and completely stimulant-free fat burners to appear in the past few years. It supposedly helps the body to build muscle while simultaneously increasing your body’s natural ability to burn calories. It’s non-hormonal, completely stimulant-free, and it is an androgenic form of DHEA. So what does all of this mean? Why does it matter that it’s androgenic?

Why Does Androgenic Work?

Androgenic is another way of saying that it increases certain hormones, mostly found in men. Obviously, men tend to lose weight that much faster. So logically, if you supplement in the hormones that men have, you are more likely to lose more weight. Recent studies show that androgen substances and 7 keto in particular can increase energy and make you feel youthful and healthy.

The Science Behind 7 Keto

7 keto was first discovered in the late 1950’s. Studies have shown that it is the most abundant hormone in the adrenal gland, and the most abundant steroid in human blood. I know what you’re thinking. But 7 keto is not an anabolic steroid, and it does not come with the nasty side effects. It just leads to compositional change.

Rapid Absorption

Clinical research at the Chicago Center for Clinical Research has found that 7 keto is able to absorb quite rapidly, and it is easily sulfated. Peak plasma levels rose after just 2.2 hours, and it steadily increased after that to create a steady and effective fat burning effect.

Healthy Immune Function

A Czech research team showed that 7 keto counteracts the effects of circulating glucocorticosteroids such as cortisol, which can suppress a healthy immune system. This study showed that 7 keto counteracted these, therefore helping you to improve immune function. A similar study in China showed that 7 keto has powerful immune-boosting properties when taken in doses of 15mg/kg of body weight.

Thermogenic Hormones

7 keto is known for its powerful and effective thermogenic activity. It works to lower triglycerides in the liver, lowering cholesterol too, and a study in Current Therapeutic Research showed that 7 keto produced results in 30 overweight adults (28 women and 2 men). Obviously, it is one of the few ingredients that can help women to lose weight.

The test group lost a significant amount more than the placebo group, and it got rid of harmful adipose tissue. No adverse side effects were observed at this particular time, and it seems to reverse the effects of aging when related to weight loss. This is of course the main reason why people often choose 7-keto. And it continues to manifest a number of other benefits if you know where to look.
