Why brahma is not worshipped?

Who does not know Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh, these Trimurtis. On the one hand, where Brahma ji is considered the creator of the universe, on the other hand, Lord Vishnu is considered the protector of the world and Lord Shiva is considered the god of destruction. Out of these trinity, Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva are worshiped all over the world, but Brahma ji is not worshiped anywhere in the world. Do you know why?

Along with being the creator of the universe, Brahma ji is also considered the deity of the Vedas. He only gave us the knowledge of the four Vedas. According to Hinduism, their physical structure is also vastly different. With four faces and four hands and one Veda in each of the four hands, Brahmaji saves his devotees, but no one worships this god.

Although there are many temples of Brahmaji on earth, but worshiping Brahmaji there is considered prohibited. According to mythology, once Lord Brahma thought of performing a yagya for the betterment of the earth. Now had to find a place for the Yagya. For this, he sent a lotus that came out of his arm towards the earth. It is said that a temple of Lord Brahma has been built at the place where the lotus fell. This place is Pushkar city of Rajasthan, where a part of that flower fell and a pond was also formed.

Every year lakhs of devotees come to Pushkar to have darshan of Lord Brahma. Every year on Kartik Purnima, a big fair is held around this temple, which is also known as Pushkar fair. But still no one worships Lord Brahma here.

According to mythology, Brahma ji reached Pushkar to perform the Yagya, but his wife Savitri did not reach in time. The auspicious time of worship was passing. All the gods and goddesses had reached the place of Yagya, but Savitri had no whereabouts. It is said that when the auspicious time started to emerge, Brahma ji revealed Gayatri from the mouth of Nandini cow and completed his yagya by marrying her.

It is said that when Savitri reached the place of Yagya, she got angry seeing another woman sitting next to Brahma. In anger, he cursed Brahma ji and said that go, you will not be worshiped anywhere in this world. However, later when his anger subsided and the deities requested him to take back the curse, he said that only Pushkar would worship Brahma on earth. Apart from this, whoever builds your second temple will be destroyed.

According to belief, even today the goddess stays here and does welfare of her devotees. She is considered the goddess of good fortune.

It is believed that by worshiping in this temple of Maa Savitri, the married woman gets long life and gets the desired results. Most of the devotees come here only women and offer henna, bindi and bangles to the mother as prasad.
