What is the circumference of a circle of diameter 10 cm (Take π= 3.14)?

Given:

Diameter = 10 cm

π = 3.14

As we know,

The formula for the circumference of a circle = 2 π r

Also,

The formula for Diameter = 2 r i.e. 2 x radius

So, 10 = 2 r

r = 10 / 2 = 5 cm

Thus, Circumference of the required circle = 2 x 3.14 x 5 = 31.4 cm
